Stephen F. Oravitz
President/Owner
Stephen is a third generation funeral director with the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. A 1972 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School and then went on to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (PIMS) to become a funeral director upon his graduation in 1977. He is an active member of the Ringtown Rotary Club serving as a past President & Treasurer, he is a member of many local civic organizations, and enjoys classic cars. Stephen is married 41 years to his wife Barbara and together they raised their 3 children - Stephen, Bradley, and Craig.
Bradley J. Oravitz
Supervisor/Director
Bradley is a fourth generation funeral director in the family business. A 2002 graduate from North Schuylkill High School he went on to earn his degree from Northampton Community College in 2005. Bradley is member of the Shenandoah Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Polish American Fire Company and several other organizations. He is married to his wife Jacqueline and has 1 daughter, Isabella.
Andrew Szczyglak
Funeral Assistant
Andrew has been with the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. since 2000. He has been an integral part of our staff for two decades. He is a member of the Polish American Fire Company, serves as a deputy coroner for the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office, and is greatly involved with his community having served Shenandoah as our Mayor for several years.
William Boychak
Funeral Assistant
William "Bill" has been with the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. for 17 years. He provides outstanding care and compassion to each of the families we serve. Bill has owned and operated several businesses over many years in Shenandoah. He is a United States Army Veteran and served as Past Commander of the Anthony P. Damato American Legion Post in Shenandoah. Bill is married to his lovely wife Anna for 50 + years.
