William “P-Nut” Dean, 55, of Hazle Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late William Dean of Patriotic Hill and Gloria (Foose) Hennessy of Shenandoah.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by paternal grandparents- Charles Foose of Girardville and Pearl (Harvey) Foose of Shenandoah. His Aunt Gale (Foose) Veach, his brother-in-law- Christopher Streeter Sr. of Shenandoah and his nephew, Christopher “Punky” Streeter Jr. of Shenandoah.
He leaves behind his sister, Sherry Dean Streeter of Shenandoah, his nieces- Samantha Streeter and Kaylee Lindenmuth, and a great nephew- Logan Streeter all of Shenandoah. Also surviving are his Aunt Sandi (Foose) Hart and Uncle James Hart of Pattersonville, along with cousins and friends.
Everyone knew him as P-Nut, Nut, or Nature Boy. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. However, his biggest love was music. He was an avid collector of music CD’s, albums, and cassettes. His favorite music stemmed from heavy metal, classic rock to country. You name it, he probably had it! If you gave him a song he could tell you the artist, year, and what CD or album it was on. Even though he was always the quiet one, he made a lasting impression on you. He never had a bad word for anyone, and he would do anything for anyone he met.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
