Thomas J. Nestor, 45, of Shenandoah, passed away at his residence on June 30, 2023.
Born in Pottsville, PA on July 22, 1977, Tom was the son of the late Raymond T. Nestor and the late Lydia D. Bartholomew.
Tom attended St. Casimir’s & St. Stanislaus’ parochial schools in Shenandoah, as well as Shenandoah Valley High School.
Tom was previously employed at Armondo’s Pizza, Shenandoah, The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Shenandoah and Hollander Home Fashions, Altamont.
Tom is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Skobel, with whom he resided in Shenandoah; two brothers: Matthew R. Nestor and his wife, Julie, of Ringtown and Raymond C. Nestor and his wife, Carissa, of Ringtown; two nephews: Matthew Allen Nestor and Raymond Robert Nestor; and niece Aubrey Rae Nestor; Step-mother: Victoria Nestor; three step-brothers: David Brown and his wife, Brianna; William Brown and his fiancé, Hope Crawn and Gerald Sadusky and his wife, Mary Jo.
Tom had a love for all animals, especially cats and dogs. His family requests that any donations in Tom’s memory be made to the Hillside SPCA, Pottsville.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10am in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, in Ringtown, and will be officiated by Fr. Dominic Pham.
