Stephen Bisco Sr., 93, of Allentown, and formerly of Shenandoah, passed away on Friday, January 29th at his home.
Born in Shenandoah on June 13th, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Mary “Swetz” Bisco.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII. Stephen worked as a tool and die maker for Mack Truck for 36 years. He was a devout Catholic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha “Dunsavage” Bisco and 1 daughter, Sandra Bisco. 3 brothers precede, Harry, John, and Thomas Bisco, and 3 sisters, Ann, Mary, and Sandra.
Surviving are 2 sons, David Bisco of Allentown and Stephen Bisco with his wife Karen of Texas, and 1 sister, Dorothy Bisco of Shenandoah.
Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, February 4th at 9:45am in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church by Msgr. Myron Grabowsky. Prior to Liturgy, there will be a visitation for family and friends from 7:30 to 9:30am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Interment will follow services in St. Michael’s parish cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
