Ronald Luscavage Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Raymond Luscavage, 74, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully at Pennsylvania Hospital on Friday, February 3, 2022, with family by his side.

Born in Shenandoah, PA he was the son of Felix and Regina (Leonarczyk) Luscavage.  Ronnie was a proud graduate of Shenandoah Catholic (The Mighty Atoms) and RETS Electronic School. He also attended Penn State University.  Prior to his retirement, Ronnie worked for the borough of Shenandoah as the Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager for over 30 years.  He and Mary were the proud original owners of Pic A Pac Restaurant in Mahanoy City, PA for 19 years.  Ronnie was a member of the Polish American Fire Company, St. Casimir's Church, the Jaycees, and was the past president of the local AFSME Union.

Ronnie loved being a Pop Pop and doted on all of his grandchildren at every opportunity.  His sense of humor toward life and everyday situations was legendary amongst family and friends. Ronnie enjoyed sports and avidly followed Penn State football, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Phillies. He also enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, going "down the shore" in the summer time, and taking trips to the casino.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Luscavage and his brother-in-law, Dominic Amato.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary (Amato); his son, Anthony and wife Jennifer of Conway, South Carolina, his daughter, Gina Ross and her husband Michael of Plymouth Meeting. He also has six grandchildren: Brittannie Luscavage, Alexandria Luscavage, Nicholas Luscavage, Olivia Ross, Jonas Ross, and Jacob Ross.  Ron also has nieces and nephews.
