Ronald R. Lorah, or “Mose” as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his home in Ringtown.
Born in Shenandoah on November 5, 1950, he was the son of the late Albert and Laura (Morrell) Lorah.
Mose was a carpenter by trade, having worked many places during his lifetime. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, painting and working on cars, was a known teller of many great stories, and given the nickname of the “lawnmoser”, because you could always find him mowing his lawn.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by his brother William and 3 sisters- Carol, Grace, and Barbara.
His surviving family includes his wife of 48 years, Cathy (Hetherington) Lorah, his daughter Amanda “Mandy” Rhoads with her husband Jeremy, his sister Linda Lorah, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
