Robert W. Hancock

Robert W. Hancock, 63, of Shenandoah, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at his home.

Born on June 26, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert A. Hancock and Rose (Balascsak) Shaffer.

Robert was a graduate of St. Clair Area High School and then went on to work for many years as a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 542.

Besides his parents, he was preceded by his son- Brandon Hancock in 2020.

His surviving family includes his wife of 42 years- Barbara (Grigas) Hancock, 1 son- Robert J. Hancock with Tiffani of Schuylkill Haven, 1 daughter- Brenna Hancock of Shenandoah, 1 brother- William Shaffer of Minersville, 2 sisters- Donna Woll of Port Carbon and Susan Guyeski of Camp Hill, 3 grandchildren- Ethan, Asher, and Everleigh, along with nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
