Robert T. Bobarsky

Robert T. Bobarsky, 89, of Shenandoah, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center in Frackville.

Born in Shenandoah on April 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mary (Sukotsky) Bobarsky.        

Robert was a 1954 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He worked in various places as a laborer, and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed going golfing.                

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded by his 2 brothers, John J. Sukotsky and Theodore C. Bobarsky II.

His surviving family includes 3 nephews- Ted (Patricia) Bobarsky of Tennessee, Joseph (Zena) Bobarsky of Illinois, and Ronald (Beverly) Bobarsky of Illinois, his niece- Joanne (Paul) Weikel of Ashland, along with 7 great nieces and nephews.   

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th at 10:30am in the Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights and will be officiated by Msgr. Ronald Bocian.
