Mary L. Pesavage, 83, of Shenandoah, passed away previously on January 26, 2026, at the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on July 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (McCord) Hysock.
Mary was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah and then spent many years as a cafeteria aide for Shenandoah Valley High School. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed camping and traveling.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded by her husband Joseph Pesavage, her son- Jason Pesavage, 2 sisters- Debbie Danowski and Nancy Hysock, and 4 brothers- Joe, Bobby, Mickey, and George Hysock.
Her surviving family includes 3 sons- John Pesavage of Florida, Michael Pesavage of Shenandoah, and William Pesavage of William Penn; 1 daughter- Linda Baker with her husband Ray of William Penn; 2 brothers- Bill Hysock with his wife Mary of Shenandoah and James Hysock with his wife Peggy of Shenandoah; 2 sisters- Alice Jarzinko with her husband Bill of Aristes and Theresa Wierzalis with her husband Len of Shenandoah; 3 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Friday, April 10th in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights
