Kay D. Faust (Adams), 73, of Ringtown passed away on February 2nd after a long battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Ides and Creta Adams of Ringtown, a sister to the deceased Marie Weinhold. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Faust Jr. whom she was married to for 39 years.
She is survived by her 3 children Laura Rusinko, husband Mark Rusinko of Ringtown, Elizabeth Faust, partner Crystal Tracy of Coopersburg, Charles Faust and wife Christina Faust of Ringtown. Survived by her three grandchildren who were the apple of her eye, Ashley Teter, Cassandra Teter, and Wyatt Faust.
She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC where she served as secretary for over 50 years. She also held various positions in Girl Scouting in Ringtown for 35 years. Most recently she was employed with Rohrer as a van driver.
Kay loved playing bingo, getting her nails done, and watching the Hallmark channel. She was known for painting ceramics, crocheting many baby blankets, and dish cloths.
A visitation for family and friends will be held both on Friday evening, February 6th from 5 to 7pm at St. Paul’s UCC Church in Ringtown and on Saturday morning, February 7th, from 10 to 11am. Scripture services will be conducted at 11am by Pastor Craig Zimmerman. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Ringtown.
