Joseph Walukiewicz

Joseph Walukiewicz, 72, of Shenandoah, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at his home.

Born in Shenandoah on December 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Ed and Margaret “Zimnitsky” Walukiewicz.

Joe was a 1970 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper / Shenandoah Valley High School.  He worked for the railroad doing maintenance.  Joe also liked to collect Lionel trains and had a green thumb for gardening.

The surviving family includes his brother, Edward Walukiewicz of Shenandoah, his sister, Roseann Kenney with her husband John of Pottsville, and his dear friend and neighbor, Debbie Abrachinsky.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00am in the Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
