Helene & Daniel Helfer Obituary
Helene M. Helfer, 64, passed away on September 8th, 2022, at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation in Frackville and her husband Daniel R. Helfer Sr., 63, who passed away on May 15th, 2020, at Geisinger – Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa.
Both Helene and Daniel were born in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Helena Bienkowski and he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Helfer.
They both were graduates of Hatboro Horsham High School. Daniel last worked as a real estate agent and Helene last worked for Nationwide Insurance.
Surviving family include a son, Daniel Helfer Jr. with his wife Amanda – Tuscarora, a daughter, Kate Mock – New Philadelphia, and 2 grandsons, Hunter and Jacob, along with Daniel’s brother – Frank Helfer and his sister, Linda Waters.
A visitation for both Helene and Daniel will be held on Friday, September 16th from 11am to 1pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be conducted at 12:30pm by Pastor Dale Weaver.
