George Edward Hysock, 76, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, January 10th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill East, Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on October 23rd, 1946, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (McCord) Hysock.
Growing up, George attended the former J.W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He then worked as a truck driver in the beverage delivery business for many years. George loved going for walks with his dog – Flower. He was a fan of western movies and antique cars.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Michael, and Joseph, and 2 sisters, Debbie and Nancy.
Surviving family include 2 brothers, William and James Hysock, 3 sisters, Theresa Wierzalis, Mary Pusavage, and Alice Jarzinko, along with nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted on Tuesday, January 17th at 11:30am in the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
