Francis T. Selgrade

Francis T. (Frank) Selgrade, 72, a resident of Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15th 2024.

Frank was born March 16th 1951.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Utarus) Selgrade, Girardville.

Frank graduated from Cardinal Brennan High School, Class of 1969.

Frank was a kind soul who had great faith and prayed daily, with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.  He enjoyed the simple things in life, family visits, spending time with family especially during the holidays, when he was able.  He enjoyed receiving sweet treats on occasion, especially milk shakes.  Frank led a very colorful life; we are grateful that he is now at peace.

Frank is survived by 10 siblings:  brothers - Joseph (Marilyn), Robert “Bo” (Ellen), Michael (Raylene), sisters - Marie (Jerry) Beckman, Alice Osborne, Barbara (Joe) Haardt, Patty (Dan) Ingersoll, Liz (Kurt) Pitts, Peggy (Darren) Waddle, Kathy (Bill) Rhoades, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Ken Osborne.

Services for Frank will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.  Interment will be at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
