Francis Lindenmuth Obituary

Francis Harvey Lindenmuth
April 1, 1942 – March 7, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Harvey Lindenmuth, who left this world on March 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, Marine, and friend, Francis lived a life filled with love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and country.

Born on April 1, 1942, Francis was the son of the late Mahlon and Evelyn Lindenmuth. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Lindenmuth, and his beloved son, Chuck Lindenmuth.

Francis is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy Lindenmuth, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. He was a proud and loving father to Bryan, Keith (wife Melissa, children Savannah, Jacob, and Ian), Penny (husband Jim Kulenguskey, children Steph, Jimmy, and Jessica), and Nicole (husband Bill Miller, children Hannah and Jack). His love and legacy continue through Chuck’s daughters, Tiffani (husband Bobby Hancock, children Ethan, Asher, and Everleigh) and Charli Lindenmuth (son Caidyn).

Francis is also survived by his dear sister, Lucy Demalis; sisters-in-law Sue Walters, Barb Parrish, and Karen Bova; brother-in-law Jim Bova; and many cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Francis proudly served his country as a Marine, a commitment that shaped his strength and resilience throughout his life. He later dedicated over 40 years of hard work at Bemis in Hazleton before retiring. He was known for his dependability, work ethic, and the friendships he built along the way.

Beyond his devotion to family and work, Francis had a passion for the open road. He loved taking road trips, especially cross-country adventures that created lifelong memories. Always young at heart, he never turned down a rollercoaster or a day of water park fun. His adventurous spirit and love for life will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.

A Celebration of his Life will take place on Monday, March 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ringtown Area Senior Citizen Center, 104 W Main St, Ringtown, PA 17967.

Francis’s strength, kindness, and love will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his story, his love, and his adventurous spirit will live on in all of us.
