Daniel R. Bolinsky Sr., 82, of Girardville, passed away on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center – Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born on June 1st, 1939, he was the son of the late Michael and Harriet Bolinsky.
Daniel was a graduate of the former Butler High School and then joined the United States Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War. After the service, he was employed as an electrical technician at Fort Indiantown Gap for many years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Janet (Wierzalis) Bolinsky in 2005, 1 son, Daniel, 3 brothers, Michael, Thomas, and John and 1 great grandson, Jonathan.
He leaves behind 1 son, Steven Bolinsky, 3 daughters, Christine Newcomer, Dawn Bolinsky, and Karen McSurdy, 1 brother, Paul Bolinsky, 1 sister, Dorothy Zerby, 3 grandchildren, Devon, Crystal, and Angela, 4 great grandchildren, Melissa, Bradley, Janna, and Michael, 2 great-great grandchildren, Carter and Harmony, and his companion and caregiver, Gayle Weikel.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, September 15th at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
