Arika L. Berger, 55, of Shenandoah, passed away surrounded by her family on May 23, 2024, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Born in Bethlehem, Pa on April 8, 1969, she was the daughter of Marilyn and the late Alvin Vandergrift.
Arika worked as a medical assistant, a dental assistant, and most recently as a home health aide.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard Berger Jr., two sons- Alan Berger with Tiffany and Curtis Berger, one daughter- Amanda Berger with David, 4 sisters- Brenda, Valda, Valfina, and Amy, 6 grandchildren – Sydney, Aidden, Ruby, Lailani, Kinsley, and Joseph, and one on the way, Serayah.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be conducted at 10:45am by Pastor Kevin Kanagy. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
