Anthony J. Bobbin, 75, of Allentown, passed away on December 13, 2023, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.
Born in Shenandoah on November 5, 1948, he was the son of the late Albert and Sophie (Gawrylik) Bobbin.
Tony was a 1966 graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School and then went on to Stevens Trade School. He worked many years as an electrical maintenance serviceman in the steel industry. Besides his job, he was also a handyman at home. Tony was a classic car enthusiast and liked to ride his motorcycle. He was an adventurous man, having enjoyed scuba diving and sky diving.
Besides his parents, Tony was preceded by a sister, Ann Joyce Bobbin in 2020,and a brother, Michael Francis Bobbin.
Surviving family includes his wife of 47 years, Marianne (Kutskiel) Bobbin, his daughter- Jennifer Holland with her husband Richard of New York, New York, his 2 sisters- Susan Mary Bobbin of Shenandoah and Mary Swies with her husband Paul of Frackville, his grandson, Ronan, and his niece, Michelle Bonomo.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 19th from 9 to 11am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Scripture services will be held at 11am and will be officiated by Deacon Jack Quirk. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
