Agnes Mary Kofluk (Przykopski), 96, of 33 Duck St, Girardville, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah on May 28, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Marie (Knoll) Przykopski.
Agnes was preceded by her husband, Steven, 2 sisters- Pauline and Jean Pretko (Shenandoah), 3 brothers – Paul, Teddy, and John Przykopski, and a nephew, David Pretko.
She is survived by her dear friends and caregivers- Carol Dura (Frackville) and Terri Krick (Girardville), 2 nephews- John Przykopski (Frackville) and Bernard and Sandy Pretko (Shenandoah), 2 nieces- Carol Armon (Frackville) and Karen Mack (Frackville), along with many great nieces and nephews.
Agnes was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Maizeville, she also belonged to the Shenandoah, Girardville, and Ashland Senior Citizens, and the Sacred Heart Society in Maizeville. She enjoyed extensive traveling, swimming, roller and ice skating.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23rd from 9 to 10am at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Maizeville. Liturgy will be conducted at 10am by Fr. Petro Zvarych. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Parish Cemetery in Englewood, Frackville.
